Why choose polyurea?

A single, flexible barrier over the roof.

Polyurea began as a high-performance industrial coating. On an RV, it bonds strongly to common roof materials and cures into a seamless, rubberized surface.

Seamless & waterproof

The spray-applied layer covers joints and penetrations without the lap seams found in traditional roof membranes.

Strong yet flexible

Its tensile strength and elongation help it tolerate expansion, contraction and impact without behaving like a rigid coating.

UV protection

A bright reflective surface helps reduce solar heat buildup and protects the roof from ongoing sun exposure.

Quick 2 Fix describes the coating as a high-strength surface that bonds to rubber membrane, fiberglass and painted metal roofs. Its reflective finish can help reduce heat load on the RV’s air-conditioning system.

Factory warranty

Will it affect the manufacturer warranty?

That depends on the RV manufacturer and its warranty terms. If the original factory roof warranty is still active, Quick 2 Fix advises contacting the dealer or manufacturer before applying an aftermarket coating.
Disclose all earlier roof repairs or modifications before the coating system is selected.

Important definition

What does
“lifetime” mean?

The Quick 2 Fix roof page defines lifetime as approximately 20 years. An inspection determines whether the warranty remains applicable after that period or whether a customer-paid recoat is needed.

Inspect every year

A yearly roof inspection is required. It may be completed on site within the mobile area, at the shop by appointment, or by video call with appropriate safety precautions.

Report damage quickly

Notify Quick 2 Fix within five business days of physical, storm or impact damage. Photos or video are required, and the damage must be mitigated.

Control component work

Roof components must be installed by Quick 2 Fix, or the unit must be resealed by Quick 2 Fix within five days of other repair work.

Use gentle cleaning

Wash with mild soap and water. Do not use bleach, abrasives or a pressure washer, and keep records of repairs or component resealing.

Transferable coverage

The warranty can move to a new owner.

The new owner must contact Quick 2 Fix within five business days of purchase and provide proof. An inspection can be requested, and a $150 transfer fee may apply.

Coverage limitation

The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the ArmorThane spray coating. It does not cover substructures, trusses, decking, ceiling panels, interior or personal-property damage, consequential damage, or loss of use.
